Dallas/Fort Worth Technology, Inc. (d.b.a. DFW Technology) was established as a corporate IT service provider in Richardson, Dallas County, Texas in 1994. During the last decade, we have transformed from a local minority owned company into a small corporation providing competitive professional IT services mainly in the North Texas region. In recent years we’ve not only enriched our resources to expand our service capability; but also extended service operations nationwide and globally.
DFW Technology has long term business relationship with our corporate clients. We’re capable to re-invest with our customers to meet their changing needs and offer flexible, scalable and cost effective quality IT services. In return we received numerous recognitions for our business performance.

Founder Background
DFW Technology was founded by Charlie W. Chen, our current Chairman and CEO. Charlie was born and raised in Taiwan where he finished his undergraduate degree in Atmospheric Science. In 1980 he journeyed to USA to pursue his further study and completed his Master’s and continued as a PhD candidate in Atmospheric Science. Realizing the PC revolution in early 80s, he changed his major and finished his second Master’s in Computer Science. He also attended the executive programs in graduate school of business at Stanford University, Columbia University and Dartmouth College.
Charlie W. Chen is a man with vision. His eyes are always open to a new venue for business or a new partnership to achieve win-win-win results (Biz to Biz, and the people involved). He always earns friendship through business processes, which is what he enjoys the most. Community services and contributions play a big part of Charlie’s life. Not only providing leadership in many charity organizations, but also Charlie’s volunteer services have extended to many other societies in the community.
